To extend a stay, locate the reservation in the All Stays tab, click on it to access the Stay ID page, and then click the Extend button located in the top right corner (desktop) or menu (mobile).
Enter the new check-out date and select a room with the same or similar rate. If a similar room isn’t available, choose any available room and use the note section to record: "The room size the guest is in was not available. The guest would like to stay in their existing room."
Our team will confirm the details of the extension with the hotel and follow up via email with details and instructions. Make sure to relay this information to the guest to avoid any issues, such as the hotel marking the extension as a no-show.
The guest will need to go to the front desk on the day of the extension and get a new room key.
If the hotel is fully booked for the extension dates, you’ll need to book a new stay at a different hotel. It’s best to request an extension as soon as you know it’s needed.
