What is a Registered Service Animal?

A registered service animal is defined as a dog (or occasionally a miniature horse) that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.

Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.

Fees may apply depending on the hotel's policy. All other types of animals (emotional support, therapy, comfort, companion) will incur a pet fee.
