Our Billing and Payment Process
No added fees. No credit cards. Just simple, survivor-centered billing designed for agency workflows and emergency housing program funding.
No Membership Fees or Platform Charges
Agencies using Safe Stays by ReloShare never pay to access the platform. There are no membership fees, no booking surcharges, and no hidden costs. You only pay for the hotel fees (nightly rate, taxes, pet and parking fees) for the rooms booked on behalf of clients.
ReloShare Covers Hotel Costs Upfront
When you book a room through Safe Stays, ReloShare pays the hotel directly. This removes the burden of using agency credit cards or submitting same-day payments. Your staff doesn’t need to carry agency cards, pre-pay, or wait for purchase approvals—we take care of it on the front end.
You Receive a Monthly Invoice
Each agency receives a single consolidated invoice at the end of the month that includes:
-
Hotel name and location
-
Guest name or alias (learn more about our Alias vs. Non-Alias hotels here)
-
Dates of stay
-
Rate per night
-
Total cost (including taxes and fees associated with your booking)
Invoices are sent via email, and individual folios—with itemized breakdowns of costs per stay or guest—can be downloaded directly from the platform for record-keeping and grant documentation.
Streamlined for Grant Reimbursement
Safe Stays is designed to align with common funding sources like:
-
VOCA (Victims of Crime Act)
-
ESG (Emergency Solutions Grant)
-
FEMA reimbursement
-
State and county housing funds
Many agencies use Safe Stays bookings as part of their hotel voucher or overflow shelter programs and submit the ReloShare invoice as part of their reimbursement package.
